Hi,
I created a Fat 32 partition and tried to install win 98 on it via restart then boot off cd. I created this new partition as e: (5gb) but the win 98 setup only lists c: to install on. I figure that it does not see the ntfs and hense sees it as c: only. I installed win 98 but choose to format drive before installation (bad move). long story short is that when I fired up computer it skips the OS bootup and loads win 98.

I booted off disk director cd and managed to get in and delete this win 98 partition and was able to boot into win xp (main os).

I have two options 1: work out how to install win 98 properly using this newly created 5gb partition that is now unallocated space.

OR option 2: forget the idea of tryng to install win 98 and get back this 5gb into my primary c: which I tried to do but gave up because I cant get rid of it. Tried to resize primary to take up this unallocated space but it does not see it. Same again, short story long, cant get this space back into c: and dissolve created e: partition.

Help please, there must be a post or tutorial on this.
