the site says teh scanner is licensed from Emsi Software GmbH (makers of a-squared). the scanners look the same too.

id say its safe.

Based on this statement, I would say why not just use the A-squared website to perform the scan? At least, that version will remove any found malware.

both scanners will let u quarantine any malware and then delete it.

ive tested them and they do work.
