Hi, folks: I have been using this app over 2 years (of course upgrade it accordingly), and fix all the errors it flags each time , remarkably never has failed a single time. I do not know how it does but i certainly know it is a job welldone. Cheers!

Yes just trust it, let it fix everything considering that you have tick the box options to make system restore before it starts fixing. Just in case "something wrong" happens in your pc, just go to xp's system restore and restore it. But to tell you this is one of the best registry cleaner I have ever used and it is safe. I used this nearly a year already and never had any problem with it. ;) 8)

If you mean the ignore facility, it allows you to ADD - Edit - Remove.

Well, I tried it and it has indeed ignore (=exclude) features, but the selection methods are poor, just one-by-one.
Multiple random selections and select "all" are NOT possible.
But it seems to be a safe registry cleaner, I had only 67 reported registries, which is nothing compared with other registry cleaners that reported several hundreds registries on my computer.
Thanks for your reply. :)
EDIT :
Additional observations :
1. Prevx1 accepted "Registry Mechanic" and that was correct, because it's a good program and listed in the Community Database.
2. My frozen snapshot removed "Registry Mechanic" completely after reboot and that is also correct, because a frozen snapshot doesn't allow any changes. That saves me an uninstalling.

Yeah, bugger when the free version doesn't do everything. :-*
Though this is version 5, it's still not the latest build, maybe you should try the latest *paid* version to see if it allows multiple selection.

I don't think this will be improved in the paid version either.
I noticed, when I downloaded this free version, that I had tested the trial version of Registry Mechanic already somewhere in 2006 together with 20 other popular registry cleaners.
They are all weak regarding "exclusions" and "undo exclusions", because most users want to "remove" registries, even when there is no real reason to remove them like for instance valid, but unused registries installed by legitimate softwares. :)
