i can go to windows updates and it shows that there are not any updates that i need to download. I can then do a qfecheck and it shows that there are three hotfixes that need to be reinstalled. I looked in the add/remove programs and didn't see them listed. Evidently they were a cumulative package. I am using IE7. Could this be something in the IE7 that is causing this? My IE6 got corrupted and I was lucky that the IE7 would work.
