Is Spy Ware in CD Rom's ?

I want to know if Spyware is included in CD Rom games that are usually bought at stores? Thanks, MW Calif.

I really doubt it. Although I did once find a gator folder in my deer hunter 2003 game files folder though, i'm not sure if it came bundled with the game or if gator decided that was where it would infest my computer though... :-\

I don't know about games.
I've installed a few games from cd and never found any spyware yet.

I did install a Logitech mouse from cd and BackWeb was installed in addition to the mouse. >:(

Motorcycles and Full Moons-- Life gets no better than that :-)

E GAMES has a notorious habit of adding various "reporters" in its games.
It offered fixes to rid yourself of the offending files, but after applying them I found them useless.
I wound up uninstalling the three games I had that E Games put out.
Thats the only one I know of.......... 8)
