E trust personal firewall

I cannot download from internet explorer or firefox either with the firewall on. I can turn the firewall off and download from either browser. What can I do to correct this problem?

did u give your browsers internet access in teh firewall?

Yes, firefox and internet explorer both have access.

try removing them and then re-give them internet access.

I went to the firewall and denied both access to the internet. Both browsers still connect to the internet but they block downloads.

does etrust have any feature that could block downloads? im not familair with this firewall so i dont know much.

WSFuser,
etrust firewall is basically Zonealarm pro (trimmed down). After installation it even connects out to p2.zonelabs without permission.

It sounds like you have a conflict/bad installation, possibly an un-install/re-install may help?
