I'm looking for a program that would enable me to backup a few personal files/folders (mostly in the "My Documents" section) to CDs.
Previously I was using WinRar to compress the folders and then burn then on a CD using Nero Burning Rom.
I assume that there's some application out there that would do this FASTER and EASIER.
Any recommendations/suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

Although I rely on Acronis True Image for potential disaster recovery situations, I use my all-time favorite burning app, Ashampoo Burning Studio, whenever I just want to backup/copy files & folders to CD or DVD. It's very easy to use and does a great job, offering file compresson, ecryption, and when necessary it will span multiple disks in the process.

While not without problems, Roxio Drag-to-Disc (previously DirectCD and now part of Easy Media Creator) mounts a CDRW/DVDRW like a floppy so you can literally drag your files/folders to the CD in one step.

My suggestion :
Acronis True Image or Terabyte BING/IFW/IFD and an external USB 2.0 harddisk as backup media. :)
