Installed it just now as I was waiting since few days. Memory usage is decreased significantly, launchpad is still there and will be removed in next version I think but U can disable its auto-start from windows or by autorun and save 6MB more of memory. Looks wonderfull.

yeah its very very nice now,

If you use comodo long enough the cpf.exe 16 000Kb to 17 000kb will reduce to 2000kb to 5000kb.

This is really nice to have it installed I guess will stick with this from now on since jetico v2.0 which is complicated and jetico v1.0 too many things to focus.

And I want to relax for a while too with comodo its installed set a little and forget.

Nice work:P

This beta is really great, an issue with freezing Windows has been fixed and RAM usage 12-22 MB (http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/2927/capture08182006141059yr0.jpg) is definitelly better than last stable version 2.2 has (50 MB) and its systray icon looks nice. It still misses one important thing for a common user, import/export settings possibility. I hope, that they will add it to the stable version 2.3, because not everyone can do it via registry.

Will be added soon as they told in the forums.

Sadly, the registration problem still persists and Comodo blocks Webshots, otherwise a good free firewall.

I really like this beta version of Comodo's firewall!

Resource usage is down to 23mb.:thumb:
The firewall has it's own tray icon now!:thumb:

Excellent work on the part of Comodo!

Yes, you can now terminate LaunchPad icon and remove it from startup. Though file submission will stop working after this. I hope they'll add an official option to use just CPF icon.

I wish that they would add an independent "Tiny firewall style" real time log monitor that I can sit at the bottom of my screen. Like Tiny, the monitor would allow me to change rules on the fly with a right click on the log if I saw something that I did not like.

The incredible versatility of Tiny Personal Firewall is something that I have never seen on the other firewalls. And that is the reason that I still use it on most of my computers with a little help from Process Guard.
