If I load true image 9.0 from a boot cd its says the tib file is corrupt when trying to restore. And it says no file in the secure zone when trying to restore. But it will restore fine if done in windows xp. It can find the file if I back it up from the boot disk, then it works from the boot disk or windows. But if I backup from windows I cant restore from the boot disk. Any Help?

Is the boot CD version the same as the Windows version? If not, make a new boot CD from the Windows version assuming it is the latest one.

Hello rick299,
Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/).
Please accept our apologies for the delay with the response.
First of all, please do as seekforever has suggested and install the latest build (3677) of Acronis True Image 9.0 Home which is available for downloading in the Product Updates (https://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/my/updates/) section of your account at Acronis web site.
To get access to updates you should create an account (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/my/) then log in and use your serial number to register the software.
Please uninstall build 3567 by following Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Add or Remove Programs -> Acronis True Image, prior to installing build 3677.
After installing the update please create new Bootable Rescue CD, re-create all your backups anew and see if the problem still persists.
If the problem persists with the latest build (3677) of Acronis True Image 9.0 Home then please remove Acronis Secure Zone using Manage Acronis Secure Zone wizard, re-create it anew and see the result.
Please let us know if that does not help either. We'll certainly provide you with the further instructions in this case.
Thank you.
