View Full Version : Acronis PES9 False Positives?

The following DPFs have been identified on a PC using the malware scan of PES9:

BrandX Messenger; PeopleOnPage.AproposMedia; and ShopAtHomeSelect.

None of these entries actually exist in the Windows\DPF folder of the PC in question. Other examples could be cited of non-existent malware.
Could Acronis Support please explain why the PES scanner is identifying this malware as being present on the PC?
Many thanks,

Gordon

Hello Gordon,

Thank you for your using Acronis Internet Privacy and Antispyware Software (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/privacyexpert/).

We need some additional information from you to localize the issue.
Could you please make the screenshot of the scan results window (with expanded entries) and send it to us via e-mail address support@acronis.com ?

Thank you.
