Amor2Net phenomenons.

I want to tell you about Armor2Net firewall. The firewall got 5 Stars @ tucows.com, it has built pop up blocker, spyware cleaner and firewall.

Some phenomenons which appear in connection with the firewall are for example a buffer overflow which can be seen by using regmon: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\WinSock2\Parameters\Protocol_Catalog9\Catalog_Entries\000000000035 (BUFOVRFLW)

Another thing is what I am not sure about: following folder:

C:\Programme\Armor2net\Armor2net Personal Firewall\KP

I had to strange files in it, called : sporder.dlle and fsg.exee

I don´t know what this can be, one thing of this firewall works: the whole block access if it is stopped. Sometimes it is very irritating because you always need the firewall to connect for example via lan.

Did you read their (tucows)"privacy" policy or "miscellaneous," especially the last sentence in Miscellaneous ???

What im saying is, a privacy policy that reads like that one, sends up red flags for me. As for the miscellaneous, i dont know the Canidian federal laws, or Ontario laws they are refering to. That also sends up red flags for me.
About armour2net, please read the thread that is 3 posts up from this 1 on the main page for this thread.

Go down the list, you will see: "privacy" then just a bit further down is "miscellaneous". I think is # 9 & 11 respectively.
