I purchased Snap Deploy to image our new PE2950 servers, though when I tried to take the image it could not detect any disks to image. I presume this is due to the PERC/5i SAS controller. Does anybody know when support will be available for SAS disks and the Dell 9 Series of servers???

Any advice, or a work-a-round would be appreciated.

Thanks

Please post what you find out. We recently purchased a 1950 with the same contoller and will soon start looking at using Acronis on it as well.

I also have a new PE2950 with PERC 5i and am unable to use TI Enterprise Server 9.1

Does anyone from Acronis read these forums? When can we expect support for Dell PERC5i ?

I'm having the same issue w/ Windows PE. There aren't any drivers for the 5i that work with anything (ok, well anything I need). I should have stuck w/ my Perc 4x and the 2850's!

There's another post here:

I have successfully deplyed 3 PE2950's and 1 PE1950 with the PERC5/i RAID controller. There should not be any issues. Make sure you are using the latest version of Snap Deploy 2.0 (SnapDeploy2.0.2105_s_en.exe)

If anyone has any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask me. I will gladly answer whatever I can.
