Is it possible to disable this annoying information bar (http://img214.imageshack.us/img214/2377/capture07262006140711zh4.jpg) completely?
I guess, that this activeX is related to flash. Any ideas are wellcome.
When I click on "Click Here For Option", there is just More Information (http://img214.imageshack.us/img214/3832/capture07262006140715rv2.jpg).

Hello,
Yes you can disable it in restriction policies (gpedit.msc).
Search under Window Components > Internet Explorer. I'm lazy now, I'll give it a deeper look soon.

Thanks, I tried it, but it did not help. Actually, it got even worse, I got this (http://img153.imageshack.us/img153/3267/capture07262006165503ts0.jpg) and then bar (http://img153.imageshack.us/img153/4743/capture07262006165507kx9.jpg).
This is not really an issue for me, since my firewall blocks scripts, so it blocks that info bar.
But I can not even think about using a different firewall, because it is annoying to see this.

It looks like you have Prompt selected
If you go to TOOLS ... INTERNET OPTIONS ... SECURITY ...CUSTOM LEVEL
tick the enable box in the section Run Active X Control - Plug Ins
and hopefully that should do it
(Remember you are changing your security levels)

You are right, it works (http://img48.imageshack.us/img48/3199/capture07262006180532oc7.jpg), thanks. If only I would like having it enabled. Well, that is my problem.

At least you now have the option, glad your problems solved

Hi Texcritter, just want to tell you Thanks again. I use this setting now.
Without it, I could not abandon Outpost Pro and use free Comodo firewall.
