Why is it that I cannot update completely the antiviurs definitions of my f-prot anti-virus...it always says that the virus container is corrupted and even if i have already reinstalled it still same thing happens. I tried to update it several times already, but still nothing changes, couldn't be updated. :-[ :P
What should i do then to correct this things out? ??? :-\

I only have ProcessGuard free and WinPatrol plus v10. I already wrote an email to them, but still waiting for their reply.

Take a look over on their FAQ's for the Updater problems. (http://www.f-prot.com/support/windows/fpwin_faq/18.html)
They have the "Unable to open registry for writing" and the "Virus signature files are corrupted" problems listed.
If you still need help contact Frisk support (http://www.f-prot.com/support/contact_support.html) via their web form.

Because of your suggestion I had a deep look at F-prot's online help . It is really good , btw . A lot of things are mentioned . :)

I have experienced the same symptoms. Following their support advice, I deleted the .def files and *eventually* managed to get an update. The error occasionally re-appeared though.

It's too late, I have already uninstalled and removed f-prot on my machine. When I visited their help section it suggest to edit some registry to enable something on using their antivirus. I have no way to do this, coz other AV can be installed easily without resorting on that thing. :P :-[ :ouch:
