View Full Version : Command Line Scanner Settings

I use an archiving utility, Power Archiver, that allows the user to do an antivirus scan on archives that are opened simply by pressing the scan button on the programs toolbar. Every time I do this NOD uses the "command line scanner" profile, regardless of how I have it configured. This profile does not show up in NOD32s profiles. I haven't had success editing this profile and saving those changes. Is that possible? Currently it is not configured to scan archives, which kind of defeats the purpose. Any ideas?

did u set nod32.exe as the executable? u can find some info on the switches here (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showpost.php?p=459410&postcount=77). dont put local or any switches for drives. so it would look like this:

i dont have nod32 so i cant confirm this but its worth a try.

Thanks, that worked perfectly!!! All I did was select the switches that were given at the thread you directed me to, with the exception of /local. Thanks again.

Is there a way to configure my command-line profile?
like when it starts after a file has been downloaded? it gives me the message about not having default Emyail-client - which is dumb, for I use Thunderbird.
NOD keeps nagging me to switch to Outlook...
What the heck does it have 2 do with scanning in the 1st place??
