Recently, I installed Goback and it showed a very frustrating trait: it never asked what drives I want to "protect", it just installed and started monitoring all three hard disks I have. I see no option to change this anywhere, and this is infuriating since it now wastes time and space on monitoring two disks on which I frequently move big files.

Is there a way to have (even "illegally", e.g. by modifying some Goback registry settings or whatnot) Goback only monitor the drive that I want it to monitor (namely C:) and leave the others alone?

I do not know about the current version of GoBack, but the older versions used to have a "Custom" setup where you could set those types of things during the install process. IF that setting still exists, you will need to uninstall GoBack, reinstall, and look for the "Custom" or "Advanced" or "whatever it is called" setting while you are installing. Good luck.

Yup, Goback still has the option to do a custom install. Just select "Custom" when installing Goback as Acadia said. When it asks you how much space you want for drive X (drive X = the drives you don't want to protect), just set to zero.
