View Full Version : logical NTFS drive, Disk Director doesn't recognize it?

to all
I'm working with cleaning up some hard drives.
I put them into USB boxes, and redo them as Logical (extended partition) NTFS drives.
I do this under windows; Windows recognizes the drives;
BUT Disk Director (version 9) only sees them as Unallocated space (whether in windows, or booted from CD system)

Any feedback appreciated; this relates to my encryption testing (TrueImage backups), and hveing to clean the drives off prior to re-imaging, etc.

thanks
Nick

Hello Nick,

Thank you for using Acronis Disk Managing Software (http://www.acronis.com/enterprise/products/diskdirectorsuite/)

We need to gather some additional information to give the problem a closer investigation.

Could you please download Acronis Report utility available at http://download.acronis.com/support/AcronisReport.exe and run it, create a report and send it to us via our Web site (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/my/support).

This would provide us with detailed information on the hard disk partition structure.

Thank you.
