Anyone have any experiance with this software good or bad? Looks like a good idea if it works.Any known conflicts with other software ? I don't mind spending the cash if it secures my computer a little more. Allready have f/w,a/v,a/t,a/s,and hips all top notch but if it'll make me more safe i'll try it.http://www.explabs.com/index.html

I had it running since April on a few of my home machines... It never alerted anything actually. Since my last system crash on my main box I've reduced some security apps and SocketShield & CyberHawk were the first two to go. I still have it running on NAS along w/ NOD32, ewido & Sygate FW. Figure it can't hurt. To be honest, I'm still running beta version, wouldn't pay for the app.

It seems to me that socketlock (freeware from grc.com) would be as good or better. I use it.

dont they function differently tho? socketshield protects against exploits whereas socketlock prevents users from accessing raw sockets.

OK I was just going by the name. Socketlock is useful though.
