Hello,

I have been trying all day to login to Yahoo! Messenger. The version which is not the beta is the one I have installed on my PC.

Does anyone else here who has Yahoo! Messenger having trouble logging in?

BeetleBoss and I each have seperate messengers and neither of them will sign in. :-\ I can't get to any FAQ pages for messenger either. Also I just talked to bigc73542 and his messenger won't sign either.

Hi beetlejuice :),

Well thanks for letting me know. I wanted to make a thread about Yahoo! Messenger not logging in because it seems so odd that it's been all day and I cannot login at all.

Hopefully it will work soon.

Yeah it looks like anything connected with Yahoo Messenger including their help and FAQ pages aren't working. I'm almost wondering if it's a server problem because when I try to go to the messenger Help page, I'm getting a 404, (Page Not Found) error.

Is it working now? http://messenger.yahoo.com/ I got there for a minute. Looks like everyone is trying to get there.

Hi ronjor,

No luck whatsoever :(. I have tried logging in to the Messenger and that link and no luck.

I guess I'll have to keep trying :).

Yahoo Messenger 7.0.0 with voice won't log in either.

I can't get into messenger either. Or Yahoo Mail! for that matter.

No luck with GAIM here either, I thought it was a GAIM specific problem but now that I see the other posts, I am relieved in a way.

Hello all,

I just tried logging into Yahoo! Messenger at approx. 1 AM eastern time and it works for me. I didn't try before this time but since I am now on the computer I tried and it worked :).

Hope Yahoo! will work for you all as well. Thank you also for letting me know your experience... I felt also relieved that I wasn't the only one experiencing problems but hope again everyone can login successfully :).

hi,

ive been having the same problem for quite sometime now...have you been having connection problems lately like around this week? i cant log in to my YM just today 11:44 eastern time and still cant log in. there are times that the problem just happens in a few minutes then you'll be able to log in again.but there are times when you cant login for a few hours.i tried calling other shops if their YM is working and to my surprise they are able to connect,but there are times that its vice versa they call me cuz they cant connect and im having no problems and we have the same ISP. could this be a server problem or my ISP? i tried the connection preferences and used "firewall with no proxies" and i can connect sometimes. ive been wanting to solve this problem so bad it gets pretty frustrating...im using 7.5.0.811 with voice. hope you guys can help me on this... : )
