Free shipping of Linux.

I don't know if this has been posted or not, but I recently found a place that might be shipping free Linux disks: http://free.thelinuxstore.ca

It's only the major distributions at this point though. I just ordered Fedora Core 5, so I don't know how fast they ship and things like that, but they're taking a page from Ubuntu's book, and I thought it would be nice to share.

One disk per two weeks.

This should make life a little easier for those not on broadband.

sorry there dog, still waiting. 4-6 weeks. Might have jumped the gun on my part.

However, my friend has received his copy, so I don't know if it's a fluke, or if it's forreal. I will comment again in a few weeks.

I'm hesitant as of right now because checking my status on the dvd I ordered brings up a paypal account.

I've found this on a newsite as well... so maybe it is indeed reputable?

You won't go wrong with any of the popular distros Fedora, SuSE, Ubuntu, Mandriva, Mepis ... etc. etc. :)

Appreciate it. Have the Ubuntu install & live CD. Looking to a multi-boot system in the future. yea, Windows will be one of them, now for the second choice. Decisions....decisions....decisions....::)

Edit What can I say, always liked the lil` penguin. So I went with Knoppix.

Well, I've ordered also but they want you to sponsor them to ship your CDs or to wait for somebody to sponsor you. ;D And I'm wondering....will somebody sponsor me? ;D ;D
