I would like to try out various alternative media players.
Is there a site (or sites) that have samples of all the different audio and video media formats so I can test how well the players perform?
Not vulnerability testing, just samples to play.

video samples are more scattered:

http://www.apple.com/trailers/ (quicktime)
http://service.real.com/realplayer/test/ (realaudio/video)
http://members.aol.com/jrzycrim01/mozilla/wmp/vidtest-HS.html (windows video)

On a side note, sometimes it's better to have more than just ONE player.

Just the other day I used VLC player which I thought could play ANYTHING freeze up on a .rm file. Thankfully I had Media Player Classic to play the file.

Many thanks! :)
