True Image7 on SATA /FSC 1437g

Hello,

I bought TrueImage 7 with a Newspaper. I installed and made a Backup of my systempartition. For testing i started the boot-cd and wanted to see the restore-screen.
My system hang up at the bootscreen with an pci-error (?) and nothing happened then.

My laptop is a Fujitsu Siemens 1437g with a SCSI/Raid-connected HDD. Because of this, a lot of Linux-System does not run propally on this "thing".

Is it possibly to ad SCSI/Raid-Drivers to the True-Image-Boot-CD??
Can someone help me with my problem?

You cannot add drivers to the boot CD.

If you want to try TI download the latest trial version which is version 9.

I am a relatively new Acronis User myself, but can suggest that if you are able to use Acronis TI running in Windows, and see all your hard drives, then one alternative method to using the TI Linux Boot Mode Rescue Disc is to create a Bart PE Boot Disc. Other users have suggested that with True Image, a better option, with more drivers, is to use ReaTogo XPE, and the Mustang Plug-in for TI.

Both of these create Windows-like boot environments, from which you can run True Image. I don't know if your raid configuration will have drivers that support it in Reatogo XPE, or Bart PE. As suggested above, the latest Acronis versions may do better recognizing your hardware than earlier builds.

There is also an Acronis Driver package available, which gets updated regularly, here:

Other support options are available here, and, if you have hardware based Raid, you might have luck with the Boot Mode options spelled out in #II, which details how to get some systems to work with Linux Boot Mode.

With the True Image 9 Boot-CD, my Laptop started once with access to HDD, next time it won`t start......

That`s bad, but i can`t work with it........

@ Acronis-Team: It`s not your mistake, Fujitsu-Siemens could not build good notebooks.

YES!!

It`s my USB-Keyboard!! Wenn I Plug-off my USB-Keyboard it starts, with a mistake but with all my harddrive !!
