How do i set my ewido anti-spyware 4.0.0.172 plus to do maximum protection possible?

It's already is set to max with a default install, only cookies can be checkmarked under "Shield".

And you should set up some scheduled scans. I would suggest you to setup a Scan over all Drives at least once a month.

A scan in the Windows directory and the Documents and Settings directory including Memory and Registry scan daily or at least every second day ;)
