This topic was suppose to be for the Voice email you wanted to know about for your friend. Teknum continues where it was, I believe, so post that there.

I just briefly scanned the other thread - I had booted Teknum updater and a related series of registry entries a long time ago....

Try the Pocket Voice Recorder (freeware) from Xemi..

http://www.xemico.com/pvr/index.html

To my knowledge its clean. Its the only recorder software that I have found that actually works, its limited to 10 minutes of voice, but you can export the saved file to .WAV and then convert to a compressed format to email, or whatever. I only have used as a gimmick, but it works, it looks great, and it does not phone home or write a lot of crap to the registry...

Best wishes to your firiend.

ReRead a couple of things, fear that this app may not be exactly what your friend needs, as it is not 100% voice activated, but one still needs to export a file to email app and then address and send, so a totally automated voice email system may be a bit of a 'Star Trek' dream.

Hope it may help some however..

Thank you for the tip ... will send it along and he can decide as to what he is capable of doing & if he wants total independence or some assistance from the spouse.
