Spyware Blaster doesn't have to run in the background to work any of it's magic, right? I can't tell from the info page whether it only provides the cookie protection when it's not running in the background, or it provides all protection when not running in the background. My instincts tell me, since it modifies the registry, then it should provide all of its protections without running in the background. But then I know just enough about computers to really mess them up. I'd like an expert to confirm my instincts.
