I currently have and use NOD32 on my laptop and IMHO, believe it fits my enviroment and love it, since changing from KAV 5.0. A problem though has come up in the form of testing for the company I work for. I was given a copy of KAV 6.0 to test and report, seems as though the company is thinking of buying kAV for use on the WAN... Though I'd love to say no to them, I can't, so I wanted to know if I can in fact install KAV 6.0 on my system, that uses NOD32. I basically want to test KAV for a week with the test files that I'll be sent from our corporate offices, but in no way do I want to un-install NOD32, then once done with KAV, re-install and go over all my settings.
So, can the 2, not running at the same time, be installed on a computer, or does one have to go? If I can use KAV to test, what must I do to disable NOD32, just unchecking the boxes will do it, because I noticed when I go to IMON, the QUIT button states that IMON will be removed from the registry and won't load up again. I don't plan to use KAV in the background, mainly, i plan to put in my 2 hours a day with it, the files I get sent, document everything, and then figure out how to unload KAV and have NOD32 back up in realtime, call me biased, but NOD is what I trust, has never let me down. Any suggestions would be great, thank you.
