hello there people, i was wondering if someone can help me with a little problem that i have (i apologise if this is the wrong forum to use) In the very near future i am looking to be buying a new computer, everything is pretty much set up on the specification that i want however im stuck when it comes to choosing the best grafix card to suit me, the new system that i will be getting will be for university work, games and also watching DvD's. the main two cards that i am looking at are the following: -
128MB ATI Radeon 9600 Pro - TV Out + DVI
256MB nVIDIA GeForce FX 5600se - TV Out + DVI
128MB nVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 Personal Cinema
they are all around about the same price but i just dont want to get the wrong one, thanks in advance for anyones help :)

Hi Goodie,
I'm afraid that I cannot help you much.
But here is a suggestion:
There is for example a site called Tom's Hardware Guide.
It has also a forum, and that forum has a special section for graphics cards:
http://www.community.tomshardware.com/forum/wwwthreads.m?Cat=&C=1
If you like, you could post your question there too.
I hope this might help you a little bit.
Cheers, Jan.

Just a hint:
You might like to make a special folder in your IE-faves and put there in all your links to the forums that you visit.
Well, that's what I did ;)
Just like I have for example folders in my faves called
Antivirus
AntiTrojan
Software
Hardware
Forums
etc. etc.
Keeping your favourites organized, makes it easier to find links in it ;)
