Did a search and couldn't find any info on this, so,
I just installed the trial version 4.0
On the status page I see where the program shows "Malware detected so far" :4 but nothing is in the quarantine area plus nothing in any of the reports generated.
Can anyone tell Me whats going on here??
I am trying hard to like this program but I need to make sure it works before I spend any money.
Thanks...

Another thing worth mentioning that could explain this is that, if you have your Shield set to automatically remove tracking cookies, ewido will delete the cookie without telling you, or quarantining it, but will register the finding by increasing the malware counter.
This would happen everytime a tracking cookie comes to the attention of the Guard.
In any other case (i.e. other than cookies), a finding should normally be accompanied by a pop-up requiring action from the user.

-{ Quote: "I'll take Your advice" }-Hello hangman,
I do not want there to be any mis-undersatanding....so what advice are you speaking of :-\
If by looking at the pic above that I posted you are assuming I am advising those settings....I am not. I was simply supplying a pic of where you could look concerning your settings and was hoping you might say what your settings were set to :-\
Also....do not overlook what TopperID offered in his above post. That could be very much the cause of what you are seeing\asking about.

I have downloaded the trial version and while I was scanning my computer, the software says it has detected more than 197,000 infections; most of which were found at c:\RecoveryBin. Is this for real? After about an hour of scanning, I clicked on an action button to delete the infections but my computer froze so I had to restart my computer. I am not sure what to do next. Please advise.

I can't confirm but the possibilty remains . If it is for real , you'd better reinstall Windows with full format , you can never know what is hiding behind so hude number of infections

As a starting point I would suggest giving your system a good clean out with a cache cleaner:-

Then try scanning with ewido again.
