Can you explain yourself a lttle more clearly AAPlus?
From your post I think you are asking:
I have 4 computers and wants to use one license of NOD32 and TDS-3 to scan all 4 computers, but I don't want to network these computers together.
Is this an acurate assessment of your question?
If it is, the simple answer is: No you cannot legally scan 4 computers with TDS-3 or NOD32 whether they are networked or not. A licence for each computer is required for both NOD32 and TDS-3. So 4 licenses for each software.
I hope I am close to your question! Also who is AA? And does this person have some relevance to your question?

Hi AAPlus,
With NOD32, I know you get a break on licensing if you buy a few copies. One licence costs $39 and 2-9 cost $34 each (down from $37 last year), so I hope you are taking advantage of this. As far a getting a single licence that is good for 4 PCs, AFAIK there is not. (well there is a server version that covers many but that is not applicable here) Perhaps your wife knows something I do not? if so I am interested to learn.
Users * * *NOD32 for workstations (unit price)
1 * * * *$39
2-9 * * $34 * * * * * *
10 * * *$29 * * *
25 * * *$25 * * *
50 * * *$19 * * *
75 * * *$19 * * *
100 * *$15 * * *
With TDS-3, there is, in a sense, but depending on how you got your previous lincences, it may be too late for these deals. Also I beleive the multi-user licences are really just a bunch of single user licences. Perhaps Wayne could answer this? He has final say on any TDS-3 Matter.
LICENSE TYPE ** * *COST$AU COST$US LICENSE PRICE
Single-User License AU$99 (US$49) $49 per license
2-User License AU$179 * * * (US$89) $44.5 per license
5-User License AU$399 * * * (US$199) $39.8 per license
10-User License AU$599 * * * (US$299) $29.9 per license
25-User License AU$999 * * * (US$499) $19.9 per license
TDS-4 will be far better that TDS-3 already is. In regards to your question about passwords, I do not know the answer at this time. Wayne or Gavin will know, so perhaps they'll come back on that one as well.
I suppose an .ss3 script could be written to load on TDS-4 start-up, and request a password before giving control back to the main TDS window. That may be worth looking into.

It is not yet on an "any day now" release status. It may be a while yet. DiamondCS had not yet sent it to the beta testing team.
