View Full Version : Last Update Unknown

When an update is performed, the date that the update was done is listed under the line item "Last update:" This is good. The PC is turned off at the end of the day, started the next morning and the "Last update:" is listed as "<Unknown>". Why will NOD32 not remember when the last update was performed after a power off state.

I have noticed the same thing, but I don't see it as a problem, just an annoyance.

Just hit the update button and the date and time pop right back in there! ;)

" }-That is my solution also! However, it is strange that the program doesn't show the update information after a reboot.

Same problem here, but not every time. May be
a small bug only. Not very important anyway. ;)

Hey Martin,

Your update shows that you updated to 1.508 (20030912) on Sept. 10, 2003.

I thought that the 1.508 update was not availaible until Sept. 12, 2003 so how could you of updated to the 1.508 on Sept. 10.

Maybe your up "Last update:" date is not correct. Please check your event log to see when you actually updated to 1.508. I'm interested in seeing what your event log says.

Hi Daniel,

your absolutely right, i didn't even noticed it ::)

It was the 12th, the latest release, it seems to me that NOd has developed date problems ;D

There's an easy explanation for that Time Zones - yours and mine are different ;)

So will this bug ever get fixed? Over 1 week since the topic was started. Or is " ...although this does not occur on all systems" the fix? Or maybe updating just to see "last update"? I don't think so...

It's a minor issue really, Just open the Control Center > logs > event log, and you'll be presented with all up to date info on this subject.

Yep; that's a minor issue, just like the documentation, and it is called 'ATTENTION TO DETAIL'!!
