A friend of mine (not me, really :) ) had a problem with this site loading on startup and also making annoying sounds while using his PC:
hxxp:///www.detoate.home.ro/main.htm
So, I told him to download Spyblaster and that would be the end of his problem (I'm a loyal subscriber to the full version). Neither Spyblaster, Spybot or Ad-aware detected or prevented the site from loading in a browser at Startup. Finally, he needed to boot in "Safe-mode" and delete the hidden file c:\windows\system32\fxdll\svchost.exe. That solved it.
Thought you might want to know about this adware or browser hijack.
