"With the Spyware Protection Act’s demise in the Oklahoma Legislature, Jolley said he expects he could see the act challenged in other states where it passed, which include Texas and California."

“A lot of people didn’t know this had passed in 12 other states. The people were clueless,” Jolley said. “The companies were clueless. So it’s going to be interesting to see if there is a movement to alter the legislation in these other states.”

Here in Oklahome we definatly wrote the appropriate people and voiced our opposition. I hope the other states follow suit.

One positive thing is coming out of this whole sorry affair and that is we know now what the real objective of this 'trustworthy' company's is, that is blatantly obvious at this point.
Could be bad for business aswell, who are you gonna trust now?
