Damon detected 3 viruses on his computer. He close the computer down straight away and rang me to come over and clean it for him.
When I got there I turned on the computer and did a scan. Nod32 did not find any viruses. I went to norton.com and did a scan on his computer. It found the virus w32.blaster.worm and I have tried to clean his computer all day with no success.
Can anyone help

How are these viruses detected?

Since Blaster has been covered in the NOD32 database right from the start, could you provide info on the version used, as well as when the user updated the database last? A screen shot would be welcome as well.
regards.
