I have just done an installation at a client's using a 5 client Enterprise edition on a small LAN. The client is using a DB that under Win2k3 uses MS SQL. In this case they are using a Win2k machine for the database. Since Win2k is not a server O/S like Win2k3 but as MS SQL is being used on it is it safe to assume that IMON should still be disabled? The Win2k box is also being used as the NOD32 mirror for the other XP workstations.

The Win2k box is not being used as a workstation.

Win2K Professional? For that small of users..I wouldn't worry about IMON...you're only 1/2way to using MSDE SQL....I have a couple of peer to peer clients that use MSDE...I setup NOD like any standard client setup that I run, not a single hiccup.

Ok have to visit them again since there are other items that I have to do. Will enable IMON on the Win2k box. Thanks.
