I've been running SpywareBlaster for a long time. I have the latest ver (3.5.1) installed and have had no issues.
All of a sudden, I keep getting the following error:
"Database Error. The SpywareBlaster database may be corrupted or missing. Click on the link below to run Check for Updates and download the latest database".

I can do this several times without any resolution. I've tried uninstalling, rebooting and re-installing with no change.
I'm running XP Pro with all the latest updates with AVG Free Antivirus. I also have installed Ad-Aware and SpyBot S&D.
Has anyone seen this issue and does anyone have any thoughts to share about a fix?
Thanks.

Although I have never encountered the problem, I would attempt to download the database updates manually to see if that cures the problem.

Yes there is - simply download the following seven files and overwrite the ones currently in your SpywareBlaster directory (C:\Program Files\SpywareBlaster by default):

Hi,

Please try downloading the database manually, as suggested above.

Also, have you installed any new programs recently?

Best regards and thanks,
