Ha, ha. Whoever made that presentation has a sense of humor! I liked the malware icons. The wheels on the trojan horse were a nice touch. The piston pounding away on the spyware icon was pretty funny, especially since the announcer kept right on talking as if nothing were happening.
The announcer himself did a good job, too. He was cheerful yet compelling. He avoided coming across as too serious (and therefore boring or pompous), while at the same time avoiding the smarminess I associate with Microsoft presentations ("Microsoft Windows XP helps you get more done, better and faster than ever before!"). Nice job!
Now, if they could do the same thing for Blackspear's settings! :D

the presentation was well made and easy to follow. itd be good to show friends and family, perhaps get them to switch AV or get an AV.

As usual not any word about false positives or missed threats. NOD32 is nothing but a bed of roses without thorns.
I understand, you can't tell these things during advertising, if you want to sell it. ;)

Besides, we all (should) know that no AV is exactly 100%, it's just that ESET like to challenge themselves to see just how close it is possible to get ;D
Cheers :)

Nevertheless, I missed that extra block in the demo movie.
Also disadvantages can be advertised in a very positive way and show how ESET takes care about that too.
I'm trialing NOD32 at this moment in one of my FDISR-snapshots and I like it more than KAV.
It didn't detect anything, so I couldn't see the screens where reported threats are mentioned.
I assume like in most scanners, that you can't report false positives as an option in those screens instead of emailing these false positives.

Seperately to the thread we're in,
I'm glad you're enjoying NOD32 so far, if you wanted to trigger a threat window, you could try download an eicar.org (http://www.eicar.org/anti_virus_test_file.htm) test file -->HERE (http://www.eicar.org/download/eicar.com)<--
For a FP if you quarantine the file or add one manually, then you can submit it mentioned as a FP or appropriate from within the Quarantine area in the Control Center.
Also, if you haven't already seen it you might like to check out Blackspears excellent tutorial 'Extra Settings for NOD32' (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=37509)
Cheers :)

Yes, I know about Blackspears's NOD32 tutorial, excellent presentation.
I used his sticky post for configuring Look'n'Stop also. He knows very well how to make a good tutorial and a screenshot is more worth than thousands words. He knows the tricks LOL.
It's good to know that NOD32 has a solution to report false positives, just in case when it occurs.
