I have just started an evaluation of Acronis Home.
Is it possible to arrange that a date, in form is added automatically to the file name? What I would like is for a standard name, like 'Documents' to be saved with the the current date to become: 'Documents yymmdd.tib'

AFAIK, it is not directly possible with TI alone. However, you can use TIs post command option to run a .bat file to rename the image.

I decided to use the date in front of the name in the yyyy-mm-dd format so that backups can be sorted by date easily. If you split a file during backup just add ?? to the end of the filename in the NameDate command. Then NameDate will rename all parts of the file (up to 99) with the single command.

If you decide to save some of your backups to the secure zone you do not have to name them. They are automatically identified by date and time.
