What features would you like to see in the next version of Doc Scrubber?
Here are some suggestions so far.
Add the option to Analyze, Scrub and Specify Title metadata

{QUOTE-> It doesn't clear out the Title metadata!! Arg! It seems to do everything but that... Any chance of that being added in the future? <-QUOTE}
Add the option to Analyze and Scrub documents in subfolders (subdirectories)

{QUOTE-> Any chance in the future a scrub option to include all sub folders in a directory could be added? <-QUOTE}
Add the options to Analyze and Scrub more data like Microsoft's Remove Hidden Data tool (RHDtool) for Word/Excel/PowerPoint 2003/XP

http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=45320
{QUOTE-> If Doc Scrubber could be enhanced, then it would be a much better tool than the Office 2003/XP Remove Hidden Data tool from Microsoft.
The Microsoft tool does not let you choose what you want scrubbed. It analyzes and scrubs whatever it finds. It may or may not scrub VB Macro Comments, depending on your security settings. It also does not allow you to specify names for Author and Company like Doc Scrubber does.
If Doc Scrubber could be updated to find the things that RHDtool finds in Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents, then many Office users would benefit. Just let the user choose what to scrub instead of scrubbing everything. Also, let the user scrub and specify a title, in addition to being able to specify Author and Company. <-QUOTE}
{QUOTE-> And while Excel and Powerpoint documents aren't currently supported, it's an enhancement I've been looking into. <-QUOTE}
Add the options to Analyze and Scrub .odt documents made with the Word writer from OpenOffice.org and other types of OpenOffice documents

http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=17010
{QUOTE-> Would it be possible to make an addition, update, or whatever to Doc Scrubber that would also "scrub" the .odt documents made with the "Word" alternative Open Office.org writer? I would really like to have that! <-QUOTE}
{QUOTE-> Do you plan to make a version of Doc Scrubber that will work with OOo documents? <-QUOTE}
Fix 'Reset Total Editing Time to 0'
http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=60575
http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=17010
{QUOTE-> I noticed that 'analyze' a document after having scrubbed it will result in Total Editing Time set to nothing whereas the properties of my opened Word document tell me differently. By this I mean the overview that I get in Word when I choose File > Properties > Statistics. There the Total Editing Time remains unchanged. <-QUOTE}
Fix 'Reset Template Used to Normal.dot'
http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=52588
{QUOTE-> Unfortunately I found out, that "Reset Template to Normal.dot" setting does not do the job...if I close DoC S. and open the just-scrubbed-doc-file to MS Word, old template information is still there. <-QUOTE}
{QUOTE-> I am experiencing exactly the same problem, and I don't seem to be able to get the software to clear the template used or the template path. <-QUOTE}
Fix 'Clear last saved by [user]' and 'last edited by [user]'

http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=49089
http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=17010
{QUOTE-> It seems not to delete/scrubb the "last saved user" in Word 2000 (Win2k) docs. <-QUOTE}
{QUOTE-> I cannot get Doc Scrubber 1.1 to function properly. I checked all options but 'Last edited by', 'Last saved by' are not cleared. Also, 'Revision Count' and 'Total Editing Time' are not reset to 0. <-QUOTE}
Other ideas for Doc Scrubber
http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=17850
{QUOTE-> I'm curious as to whether & how you would take RFEs for DocScrubber. I've a few ideas - some rather minor & at least 1 somewhat major, & am wondering how to get them to the relevant people. <-QUOTE}
