View Full Version : Confused-- Which distributor has the latest version of FD-ISR??

I am interested in purchasing one of the FD-ISR solutions available. I must say I am a little confused by the licensing and distribution model for this program/technology. I read the sticky and I see that I can purchase from one of the following:

Raxco Software (FirstDefense-ISR)
PEER Software (Peer-ISR)
Software Pursuits (BootBack)

Which one of these companies offers the best product?
Or are they all the same?
Does one have more features than the other?
More bugfixes?
A Better interface? ???

Please, if someone can clarify this I would appreciate it.

Raxco has v1.05.166, which is the same as the Professional version on the Leapfrog site. The server version on Leapfrog's site is v3.05.166. (I think!)

BootBack curiously lists both versions as 3.05.166.

I can't get version info on Peer-ISR's site. :(

No matter - they should all be the same.

I would personally recommend Raxco, just based on the support I have received from them.

thanks, I am going to give Raxco a try. I am familiar with their PerfectDisk product (used it for a while until I more or less gave up on defragging altogether) and it was excellent.

I wonder why they charge more for a download than for the boxed version? that's sort of a bummer.
