NOD always closing

Ok i just installed the new version of NOD, and whenever I run NOD it closes like a few seconds after. Same with my firewall. Why does windows do this???

There's not much information there, but since the firewall AND the AV are shutting down spontaneously, it's very possible that the problem is not caused by either.

So something OTHER THAN the Firewall and AV are shutting down your security applications. ::)

Sounds like a nasty (trojan, virus, or worm).

Suggest you perform and online scan at Panda or TrendMicro.

Or, if you don't have the bandwidth and/or time for an online scan, you can try this. If you have (or can create on a CLEAN PC) a bootable AV disk with F-Prot for DOS, that would probably work, I think. One note, though, F-Prot for DOS might have trouble scanning a NTFS partition - FAT32 partitions work fine. Instructions are at this link:

Perhaps some of the other nice people here have some further insight or suggestions.
