Greetings
Has anyone tried using BitDefender AV 9 Standard with First Defense? If so can you give feedback as to whether they work smoothly together?
Any install precautions or protocols necessary?
Thanks
Ashwin

Hi Ashwin
Don't remember if I included Bitdefender, but I've tested almost every AV people talk about. No issues at all
Literally the only thing I've found that conflicted with FDISR was the CMS Bounceback program. (Not including anything that modifies the MBR)
You should be able to try AV's and firewalls to your hearts content, and if you don't like them "poof" and they are gone.

Thanks Peter
I guess I just struck it lucky with CMS!!
Recieved word back from them that at least I can use the external hard drive (ABS Plus) with any software. They also do compatibility testing, though FDISR has not been done yet.
Highest Regards

Don't feel like the lone stranger. You got off easy with the fix they gave you. My experience with CMS and FDISR wasn't pretty.
You will love FDISR.
