Hello,

everytime when I try to scan RAR files which are made up by multiple volumes NOD32 shows an error message and only scans the first file (for example xxx.rar and NOT xxx.r01, xxx.r02 etc)

How can I fix this?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Mattias,

How is your setup for NOd32, did you check "packed files", see screenshot.

Thanks for your reply Martin!

Yes, I have scan compressed files checked. I can't understand why it doesn't work...

Any other ideas?

Thanks again for your help!

I'm guessing that .rar files would be considered archives.

Hi Elliot,

Even when there is a virus in an archived file, when you unpack it, Amon will catch the bug. ;)

Great, and if the impossible happened and it didn't, TDS-3 would almost certainly catch the critter, lmao.

Hi Elliot,

No worries here, be assured NOD will catch the little bugger ;)

It still doesn't work, all I get is "RAR - next archive volume not found" :((
