AVL MINI Help?

I saw Antiy's AVL MINI on majorgeeks.com antivirus page. Some give it good reviews as a free complement to any existing AV. I have downloaded this several times, but it won't install properly. Running 98 SE on a P2 350 MHz with 320 MB RAM, I run the setup okay. When I try to run this app, it gives me an error that AVL caused an invalid page fault in AVL.exe. Does anyone know what's up with this stuff? I have had only one successful install. The app updated, but it wouldn't recognize even so much as the standard AV test file. Should I just give up on this, or does anyone have any opinions on AVL MINI?

My most dread fear! It is a clock speed issue. It installs on my P3s and P4s and works okay, but not so on Pentium 2s or less.
