free space vs whole drive wipe

It looks like disk wipe does the whole drive, can it do just free space?

Yes it does, On Ver 9 go into system clean up, and under pick a clean up component icon, it is called "hard drive free space"

Thank you so much! I was wayyyyyyyyy too sleepy when i poked around in it the first time. That's my excuse for not finding the obvious and I'm sticking with it.
