Hi all ,
I have noticed that I have to close/exit SpywareGuard to get my Win 98 Defragmenter to complete it's job. It was sticking at 70% and could not get any further . When I closed SpyWG it finished the defrag quickly. So SpyWG must be writing to files , or scanning them in the background continuously. I have found in the past that the less that is running in the background the faster the defrag. Nothing new there. I usually defrag off line so that I can shut down any running AV Guard / scanners also.
This is not a big problem... I am just interested if any one else has noticed this.
