hm well I'm no expert tester and I sure won't be trying anything since McAfee knocked my main machine offline - but here's a link about that AV for anyone interested. Most sites I found mentioning it I could not read lol

Did think it was interesting it has a The Bat! plug-in... I've never used that proggy but heard people say good things about it here before.

I think nothing, the reason is very simple: there is no reliable independent information and/or test at all about UNA.
And because a good AV is very important: don't try an unknown AV like UNA at all.
BTW: an AV is like the name already says an AntiVirus and not an AntiTrojan, a product that does the job at once don't exist, beside an AV you always need a separated AT.

I'm sorry but this is wrong:
it's proven that AV performs better than AT for trojans...
IMHO, the right stuff's stiff KAV (best AV/best AT).
I'll find you some links...
PCFlank/Trojaner if I remember well.

I have a nice link for you, which explains something about AT's, and why just an AV is not enough. ;)

KAV by itself would be as good as the best AT programs for trojan detection, but whether you want to put all your eggs in the one basket is another question.
A number of people here now recommend a layered defence system and at the present time I am running NOD together with BOClean on my main computer here.
The few posts/tests I have seen on the web, seem to indicate that KAV is better at trojan detection than the specialised AT programs. But these tests are rather old.

However, VirusP's results seem to suggest that most of the top notch AV's are better than the specialised AT's.

Overall, there needs to be more comparative testing on the abilities of AV and AT programs to detect trojans.
Overall, KAV and KAV-based AV's seem to be good enough by themselves to detect trojans. While those AV's with weaker unpackers would probably benefit from the help of an AT program.

Hello!
UNA ( http://unasoft.com.ua/index_e.html offical site ) has a line of technical advantages above KAV - speed of work, smaller loading of system.
Thus cost of the license for year at purchase through internet only 15 USD ( bespeka.com.ua - e-distributor) .
thats cool!
