Data miner issues

Uh, I apologize for my lack of sophistication here.... I invariably get "data miner" reports when using a cleaner (Adaware). These programs seem to install themselves whenever I stream classical radio. Is there already a way to block such? I feel like a student raising his hand to ask a question in class and announcing how inadequate he is.... If it's possible to send a copy of any reply to my e-mail address, I appreciate that. Thanks much.

In most cases, Ad-Aware detection of data miners refers to cookies.

I find that I surf with less problems if I allow cookies, after I can Keep the ones I want (forums) and Delete the rest. I allow normal site cookies, but I do not allow third party cookies.
