It has come to our attention that using the on-access (memory-resident) scanner (AMON) feature of the NOD32 anti-virus product causes jv16 PowerTools 2006 not to work.

Until the bug is fixed from NOD32 you can only disable the AMON feature before running jv16 PowerTools.

Funny !
I'm sure I remember this same thing happening three years ago
when I was trying NOD32....;D

Well, that would explain why I had a bunch of trouble after buying jv16 Power Tools earlier this week. I just gave up trying to figure it out and got a refund. Having to disable a part of an antivirus program before running another program doesn't seem like a good thing.

I would be interested in hearing what the problem is. Installation of jv16 PT 2006 with AMON enabled went flawlessly on my machine.

I have no problem here with this combination, But...Jv16 is excluded from hardware DEP (jv16 will not run while hardware DEP is enabled, so maybe some problem connected there?)
