Hi, for the last two days when I check for updates TDS doesn't recognize that the file is up to date and just downloads the file even though it is the same one already installed.

When todays update came out it downloaded it OK but checking again initiates another download of the same file.

Latest update.cfg is installed.

Any ideas?
Would this be a problem at my end or on the server?

Hi guy,
you have today's update 26-8 [27610 references - 9266 primaries/7781 traces/10563 variants/other] ?
I was thinking of that update.cfg file indeed, can you open it in notepad or wordpad and change the order of some links (make sure no extra spaces or empty lines appear that way) and try again?
Is this all of a sudden or has it happened before?
Which windows version are you using?

Thanks Jooske, the problem was the update.cfg after removing the first URL it works fine now. :)

This was tested three times with the same results each time, removing the first URL all is OK if it is replaced the problem reoccurs so it is possibly? a problem with the server.

update config with the problem..

FYI OS is XP Home and this was the first time it has ever happened.

It's good that you mentioned it, the DCS guys can have a look at that mirror and incase the error still excists remove it from the list.
Glad you have it all working properly now! Thanks for telling!
