Threat found and Cleaned

During a scan Nod cleaned Win32.Favadd which it lists as a Trojan. I had no alert while online. I have Blackspears settings enabled.

Is it just the case that only some of the items needed for the trojan were downloaded and then cleaned. There were 3 instances, all in system32 folder.

PSDrvcheck.NLD
PSDrvcheck.NL
PSDrvcheck.KO

or are they false positives?......PSDrvcheck is part of Pinnacle InstantCopy App. Ewido full didnt alert and nothing showed up on scan either

I am also having the same problem, this happened to me last night and im trying to fix it now. I have just uninstalled Pinnacle and am going to scan it again. :-\

I currently have the same problem, Ewido did not find it neither did an online scan. It only occurred after thursdays update. I seem to recall that last year there was a problem wth Pinnacle products - I am guessing this is a false positive but I await confirmation.

why dont you send that files to samples[at]eset.com and they will analyze them :D
